I should have made this blog post a long way back in October immediately after the last post. Little did I know that I wouldnt return to the blog for FIVE months.
The facebook page started on the 2nd of July 2013. The initial goal was to have one photo per day with a short caption. This has continued nearly uninterrupted right through the summer and I am stoked to see that we're approaching 700 likes! Incredible to have so much support and interest out there.
On the other hand, the blogs have typically been quite demanding to prepare an article and bunch of photos. In the first season it was great and served as a bit of a personal journal as well as being a repository of larger collections of photos. But the writing became a challenge and even more so now that after two amazing season of data collection all that remains is to analyse data and write thesis chapters... that is taking all my linguistic efforts over the next three to four months.
So please enjoy the facebook page. Perhaps the blog will get cracking again sometime down the line - and if it does the links will be posted on facebook in the first instance.
